Art of Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster Launch Exhibition Event
Gallery Nucleus, Alhambra, CA
Saturday, March 15, 2014 2PM-7PM

This isn't exactly a review, being that I missed out on a lot of the event and I don't have much to report on. This is mainly my experience during the event.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix Official Launch Event
Anaheim Marriott, Anaheim, CA
September 8, 2013 12PM-6PM

After seeing all the Facebook posts and the 3000+ RSVPs to the event, I decided to go to the event early. I was worried that the freebies, particularly the poster and pin, would be gone if I went there on time.

I went to the Distant Worlds II: More Music From Final Fantasy CD release party in Culver City, CA at the Royal-T Cafe, where I got to meet Nobuo Uematsu and Arnie, take pictures, and get a signed CD and limited edition poster.

The reportCollapse )

No More Free PS3. =(

So I had a brand new PS3 shipped to me for free. By accident, of course.

I bought an item from a seller, which I received. A few days later, I received another item from the same seller, and there it was, a brand new in box PS3 which I didn't pay for. My initial thought, "Uh oh, did I buy this?" I do buy a lot online, maybe a bit too much, so for a split second there I was afraid I accidentally bought one. I recapped and knew I definitely didn't buy one and found out that it was from a seller I previously bought from.

My next actions had required deep thought and a chibi devil and chibi angel on either sides of my shoulder. Of course, I wanted to keep it. It's a freakin' free PS3. If the seller ever contacted me about it, I could claim that I never received it. I told some of my friends to see what they thought about it. Everyone told me to keep it. But the good person that I am, I don't think I would've enjoyed the PS3 as much, knowing that it wasn't mine to begin with.

So, I contacted the seller and gave it back. Some people would praise me for my noble actions. Others would call me an idiot. Right now, I'm doing a bit of both to myself.

Fortunately, something good came out of this situation (besides a clean conscience). The guy who I returned it to was really thankful that I contacted him. So he said his store would send me a free game. I'm still waiting to see what game it is. Hopefully, it's one I want.
Event: Utada "In the Flesh" Concert
Date: January 19, 2010 (Utada's birthday)
Location: House of Blues LA, Los Angeles, CA

I know, it's late. And there's already tons of people's reports on the concert. Probably much more detailed than mine too. But I still had to write one up of my own. I needed to remember my own experience in history.

First

This is my first LJ account. I initially used this to buy stuff from other people here on LJ, but now I feel like writing about stuff people probably wouldn't care about. Gotta vent somehow. But I'll mainly write about my collecting adventures, events I go to, and other random stuff I find exciting.
